Dear student,

Let me take the time to welcome you to the wonderful and exciting martial art of Choi Kwang Do. I hope that you will find you martial art instruction to be rewarding. You will certainly get out of it, everything that you put into it. What we want to do at Choi Kwang Do is help instill in you the “Pil Sung” spirit. This spirit is one of unfettered determination to stick to the task at hand. It means “Certain Victory.” For our children such means, “To always do my best and never give up.” No medal was every awarded to the person who quit. We want to see you carry out your martial arts training as far as you are able to go.

During your training, feel free to ask any question you deem necessary to keep you informed in Choi Kwang Do. As your instructor, I am available to answer any question you may have about your training or Choi Kwang Do in general. My office number is 687-526-5007. Grand Master Choi has made himself available to all who need to talk to him about their martial arts instruction. You can contact him at 770-785-0010 or email him at ckd@choikwangdo.com.

During your training you will be kept informed by Choi Kwang Do News Letters, magazines, flyers, etc. You will be given Belt promotional testing dates and times along with information on seminars, events and activities related to Choi Kwang Do.

Again, I hope your experience with Choi Kwang Do with be a pleasant one and that your training will prove to be rewarding. I will certainly do everything I can as your Instructor to make this come to pass. I sincerely look forward to working with you and/or your child(ren) in the revolutionary martial art of Choi Kwang Do.
